• NOVA Permits and Pilot Cars is totally dedicated to providing the best permitting, pilot car and reporting services available on the market.  We will continue to make productivity improvements to maintain competitiveness and we shall strive for our customers' complete satisfaction, in a respectful and friendly environment.

OUR COMPANY HISTORY

• NOVA Permits was established in 1992 after a major permit service in the Quebec City area decided to close its doors.  Nova recruited several of its long-time employees, whose experience and availability were paramount to Nova's creation and subsequent success.

• NOVA Permits began its business activities with 4 employees and a limited operating budget. Through sheer determination and by providing the best customer service possible, Nova began to build its name and reputation. By 1994, Nova possessed an interesting list of loyal customers.  Marketing and publicity efforts were launched and the staff continued to grow.

·         In 1995, with routing and pilot cars in steady demand, NOVA Permits responded to the urgent need of opening a new division, to work hand-in-hand with the permitting department.  To allow us to provide safe routes to accommodate the growing number of loads in the road transport industry, we proceeded to open our very own Pilot Cars division, to recruit and hire experienced and certified pilot car drivers.  As a result of this expansion, our company finally became NOVA Permits & Pilot Cars.  Furthermore, 1999 witnessed the creation of the ©5STAR permit processing software, which was designed by our own permit specialists and programmers. While keeping in mind the specific needs of our clients, our state-of-the-art system truly simplifies the entire permit ordering process. 2004 saw the creation of the greatest customer tool: the Permit Console!

·         Today, NOVA Permits & Pilot Cars employs 25 Permit Specialists and professional office staff, and secures the services of over 100 pilot car drivers. We will always continue to make great investments to reach our ultimate goal of being the Very Best in the industry.   2004 was an exceptional year for NOVA.  By constantly hiring and training new NOVA team members, upgrading the computer equipment and always developing various software that will improve the turn-around time to get your permits to you, we look forward to many more exciting changes in 2006, and in the years to come!
